ADBE +3.6%, RIMM -7.3% Following Earnings/Guidance
Stocks had looked like they would come rallying back from three straight losses, but the broad market's inability to overcome resistance in the early going prompted many participants to exit their positions. Stocks chopped along for the rest of the session and eventually settled with modest gains.
After the close, AIR, CAN, ADBE, HEI, ZQK, RIMM and STEI are the only notable names scheduled to report earnings results.
Futures are mixed after hours: S&P 500 futures are +1.53 from fair value of 1209.57 and Nasdaq100 futures are -0.64 from fair value of 2222.84.
